Great to join the Mayor of Ashford for an easter-themed catch up with Jilly and members of The INDY Club at Repton Community Trust today.

The INDY club offers support for a positive, strengths based approach to living with dementia, and it was wonderful to chat frankly with members about their experiences, and understand the things we can all do to make the world a more dementia friendly place. Jilly's home made scones were rather good too!

The group meet on the second Friday each month at Repton Connect Community Centre from 10:00 - 12:00.

Dementia is a condition that affects millions of people around the world, and can have a significant impact on their quality of life, independence and well-being. However, there are many ways to support people living with dementia and their care partners, and one of them is through social and cognitive stimulation within groups like The INDY club.
